# RealmID

The ID for a realm. Within a given shard, every realm has a unique ID. Each account, file, and contract instance belongs to exactly one realm.

| Field      | Description                    |
| ---------- | ------------------------------ |
| `shardNum` | The shard number (nonnegative) |
| `realmNum` | The realm number (nonnegative) |
